Live Music on the Dock

Riverboats at the Gateway Arch, 50 S. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63102

Multiple dates and times throughout May

Cost: Free

Enjoy performances from local artists as the riverboat dock at the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch transforms into a live music venue. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis and food and drinks from the Paddlewheel Café will be available for purchase.

14th Annual Taste of Maplewood Street Festival

Sutton Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63143

May 20 - 21

Cost: Free

Restaurants, specialty stores and boutiques in Maplewood will line Sutton Boulevard with all their best offerings. There will also be live entertainment on two stages throughout the event. Friday will be the pre-party that will include performances, food vendors and more.

Sunrise Yoga with Citra Fitness & Movement

Cost: Free

Experience a gentle yoga practice while awakening your body and basking in the morning sunlight. The purpose is to energize and align your body and mind through movement and breath. Yogis of all levels are invited to attend and beginners are welcome.

Quilting For All Levels

Cost: $40

Learn to quilt or build on your knowledge of quilting from a member of the quilt guild. You can bring your own material or use City Sewing Room’s available fabric. Thread, notions and machines will be provided.

Art Fair at Laumeier Sculpture Park

The 35th annual Art Fair at Laumeier Sculpture Park will feature up to 150 juried artists from across the country. The event will also include food and beverage vendors, activities for kids and live music.

Main Street in Bloom

230 S. Main St., St. Charles, MO 63301

May 7 - 8

Cost: Free

Historic Main Street in St. Charles will come alive as flowing ribbons and floral wreaths adorn the lamp posts and merchants decorate with flowers and beautiful displays. Many of the businesses on Main Street will stay open late to give plenty of time to shop and enjoy the restaurants.

Caregiver-Focused Events

Nazareth Living Center Caregiver Support Group

Tuesday, May 17 at 1pm

Cost: Free

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter is holding a support group for caregivers to have a safe, confidential and supportive environment to develop social relationships and mutual support. This is also a chance for the organization to educate and inform participants about dementia and help them solve problems.

St. Louis University Cancer Center Yoga

 Multiple dates throughout May

 Cost: Free

Take part in a free yoga class designed specifically for cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers. The classes teach rhythmic breathing, gentle stretching and mental focus to help ease physical and emotional stress.

Missouri Baptist Stroke Support Group

3015 N Ballas Rd., St. Louis, MO 63131

Saturday, May 14 at 10am

Cost: Free

This group is designed for stroke survivors and caregivers in the community. It takes place in the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Clinical Learning Institute in Room 419 every second Saturday of the month and aims to provide emotional and social support.
