Moving It! Series: Yoga by AARP Missouri

Every Wednesday, Oct 13 - Nov 17, 10 – 11am
Cost: Free

As part of its online fitness Moving It! series, AARP Missouri is offering yoga classes with Tyler. A gentle yoga practice can help older adults strengthen bones, improve flexibility, and enhance balance. In addition to physical benefits, yoga can also reduce stress and improve sleep.

Living Mindfully: Less Stress, More Joy by St. Luke’s Hospital

Nov 2, 6:30 – 7:30pm
Cost: Free

Ease your anxiety, fatigue, and other stress-related symptoms, by exploring research-supported mindfulness techniques with a certified holistic stress management instructor. Pre-registration required.

Recreational Events (In-Person)

Active Minds Book Club, hosted by the St. Louis Public Library (Buder Library)

4401 Hampton Ave, St. Louis, MO
Every Tuesday, 8 – 9am
Cost: Free

The Active Minds Book Club meets every Tuesday morning for a 30 minute walk from the library to Francis Park, while listening to audiobooks. At the end of the walk, participants gather for an informal book show-and-tell to share what each person is enjoying about the book they’re listening to.
In the case of bad weather, the club will still meet for show and tell in the large quiet room on the second floor of Buder Library at 10:00 am.

Rock the Dock Concert Series at the Gateway Arch Riverboats Dock

50 S. Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard, St. Louis, MO
Sundays in October, 1 – 4pm
Cost: Free

The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch are hosting the second annual Rock the Dock floating concert series, a celebration of STL’s live music scene! Concertgoers will enjoy a special Cajun-inspired menu and a selection of drinks from 4 Hands Brewing Co, alongside the best views of the Mississippi River and the Gateway Arch.

Five Star Foodies by Five Star Center

The Five Star Center hosts a monthly food truck night served by local, tasty businesses. Enjoy delicious food, meet other locals, and maybe win one of two $50 Schnucks gift cards!

The Jack-O-Glow Walk at the St. Charles Heritage Museum

1630 Heritage Landing, St. Peters, MO
October 15, 5 – 9pm
Cost: $3 for pumpkin carving

Take part in a jack-o-lantern walk and pumpkin carving contest featuring 100 pumpkins carved by residents that will illuminate the outside of the museum and one mile of the paved Centennial Trail. Pre-registration is required.
