A Gospel Christmas with Oleta Adams

Ring in the holiday season with gospel renditions of holiday favorites. Returning to Powell Hall, guest artist Oleta Admas joins the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and IN UNISON Chorus directed by Kevin McBeth, to share this soulful celebration sure to warm your heart.

The Field House Museum's Spirited Holiday Past Tour

Organic Architecture in Harmony with Nature – The Life and Works of William Adair Bernoudy

William Adair Bernoudy (1910-1988) was a leading advocate of Frank Lloyd Wright’s modern organic architecture and a widely admired St. Louis architect. Born in St. Louis, Bernoudy was known for his skill in designing houses that harmonized with the local environment and terrain. Participants can join in-person or via Zoom. King Herod — the Great?

Reviled by both Jews and Christians, King Herod of Judea nevertheless became known to history as “the Great.” Learn how this enigmatic figure overcame seemingly impossible odds to rule a Jewish state possessing a level of political stability, economic prosperity, architectural accomplishment and international significance and would not have again until the birth of the modern State of Israel.
